January 2010:
New Price List of treatments & Products
Due to the change in the VAT since the 1st Janaury 2010, some of our products suppliers have increased their prices accordingly and unfortunately we had to change our treatments and products prices.
These changes are on some of the treatments and not the entire price list. Therefore we ask our clients to check the list when browsing our website and you will see that the change is very small and on some of the treatments listed.
We thank all our clients for their understanding and their continous custom which allow us to carry on providing them with the professional services.

December 2009:
Festive Holidays Closing Days
The Beauty Therapy Room will be open until Thursday 24th December 2009 up to 5.00pm.
The salon will be closed for Christmas Day (25th December) & Boxing Day (28th December 2009).
We will open ONLY on Tuesday 29th December 2009 from 10.30 am to 6.00pm for the week before the New Year.
The salon will be closed for New Year's Eve 31st December 2009 and we will back as normal working days Monday to Friday and hours (10.30am - 8.00pm) as from Monday 4th January 2010.
We like to take this opportunity to wish ALL our clients, friends, colleagues the best for the Festive Seasons and may the New Year be full of happiness, prosperity and peace for every person on Earth.

December 2009:
London School of Economics - London RAG AU WAX
On Wednesday 2nd December 2009, The Beauty Therapy Room had joined forces with the students at the London Scholl of Economics in London and their student union for a Big Charity Event - Waxing four male students to raise money for 3 charities: Hope, Treehouse, Multiple Sclerosis.

September 2009:
NEW SKIN AID CHALLENGE
The Beauty Therapy Room and indeed Marlene Rose have joined force with Rebecca Kepple to fight a skin problem - ACNE.
Rebecca Kepple has written a book about ACNE called “The Skin Aid Challenge” and its problems and how to eradicate this skin condition. Now she is launching a new project to help every person who has ACNE and does not know what to do. All the information about joining and taking part in the project to clear your skin and have the most healthy skin, you can download Rebecca Kepple's e-book and get started. August 2009:
NEW SCHEME FOR ALL CLIENTS
The Beauty Therapy Room has organised a New Scheme for all our clients - LOYALTY POINTS SCHEME!
The Loyalty Points Scheme starts on 1st August 2009 and it is valid on all the days the salon is opening, this means from Monday to Friday from 10.30 am to 8.00pm.
How does this Loyalty Scheme Works?
From 1st August 2009, every client who visits the Beauty Therapy Room and have a treatment and/or purchase a product, the computer system will keep track of how many points the clients have earned on their Client Details. When the client has enough points to be redeemed and they book an appointment, the system will advise the client giving the opportunity to select a service.
For every £5 the client spends, One Point is collected.
How & when can you redeem the points?
Clients can redeem their points ONLY towards services ie treatments and NOT towards products.
Each service/treatment has an allocated number of points to it, starting from 50 points to 900 points. For example if a client has collected 50 points during her visits in the next few months, when her total points has reached 50 points, the system will remind the client at the time of booking, if she/he wants to redeem their points towards the treatment/service which they have on that day at The Beauty Therapy Room. This will happen at the time of booking or payment for services at the Reception.
For example:
On 30th October, a regular client who had been for few times at The Beauty Therapy Room and had few treatments and/or purchased products, she/he booked treatments on that day and when paying the bill at the end, the system will recognise that she/he has 50 points collected, and will ask if she/he would like to redeem these 50 points towards the services she/he will have on that day? If so then the points will be redeemed providing the treatments had the correct allocated number of points to it. If not, the points will be collected in the system to be redeemed at a later date and time.
We hope that all our clients will enjoy collecting the points so they ca redeem them aginst treatments. This is our way to say THANK YOU TO OUR CLIENTS who have been with us for few years and to the new clients too.

Update - LSE AUX WAX Chairty Fundraiser!
We had a great time waxing the four brave volunteers for the LSE Raise and Give Society's Charity Fundraiser. It was a great night and we're proud to have been involved in such a worthwhile event!
